Bobrisky Arrested In Lagos Over Public Admittance Of Being Gay

Nigerian male Barbie and Snapchat queen, Idris Okuneye, most popularly known as Bobrisky, was arrested in Lekki, Lagos. Neco releases 2017/2018 examination results

The National Examinations Council has released the results of its candidates with 70% of them excelling according to the data made available. The National Examinations Council on Thursday released the June/July 2017 Senior Secondary Schools Examination results. The Council says out of the 1,051,472 who sat for the examinations, only 745,053 of the candidates got at least five credits including Mathematics and English Language. The Registrar of the Council, Prof. Charles Uwakwe, while announcing the results at the headquarters in Minna, Niger State, said a total number of 50,586 candidates (4.81 percent) were involved in examination malpractices, representing a 0.52 percent increment compared to 2016. Uwakwe said the comparative analysis of candidates’ performance in the examination for 2016 (69.74%) and 2017 (70.85%) shows that there is a 1.11 percent improvement in the general performance of candidates. Azeezat Adedigba and Olanrewaju Oyedeji Lecturers in Nigerian public universities have declared a total, indefinite strike from Sunday, August 13. The lecturers, members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, announced their decision on Monday morning. At a press conference in Abuja, the ASUU President, Biodun Ogunyemi, explained reasons for the lecturer’s decision. after collating the views of members from the various chapters of ASUU. Mr. Ogunyemi said the nationwide strike would be total and comprehensive. “During the strike, there shall be no teaching, no examination and no attendance of statutory meetings of any kind in any of our branches,” he said. Wizkid’s concert at the Kenya International Convention Center (KICC) on Saturday turned tragic after a police officer shot a young lady for no apparent reason. Reports indicate that the unidentified lady, who is a student in one of the local universities was shot by the cop as she was waiting for a friend in her car. A video has surfaced showing an irate gentleman pursuing the officer and asking him why he shot the lady. The cop is seen covering his face while walking in the opposite direction.
